Monthly Book Club
WE ARE READING LOCAL! This monthly book club is open to the public and will meet on the 4th Wednesday each month at the Ammon Branch of the Bonneville County Library at 7:00 p.m. Our April read is "Answered Prayers" by Tiffany Zweifel. You can check out a copy at the library or purchase one from Tiffany at the Wednesday library events in April. Join us for the discussion on April 22nd at 7:00 pm!

Sharlene Jolley - Sectretary


Sharlene Jolley is a southeastern Idaho native, She has returned home with her husband to raise their three children in the close-knit community they love. Sharlene holds a master’s degree in organic chemistry from Kansas State University and has taught chemistry for over 25 years, including at Idaho State University. She currently teaches at the College of Eastern Idaho, where she has expanded the organic chemistry program. Passionate about science education, Sharlene founded Science Spectacular – The Jolley Way, an annual hands-on event that inspires hundreds of local elementary students to explore science.




Marla Melior - President
Marla Melior was born and raised in Idaho Falls. She is new to the writing world, publishing her first novel, "When Walls Talk", in December 2023. Since then she has released two additional novels with a fourth coming this summer. She writes a very human story with historical elements and promises her readers a clean read... always. Prior to becoming an author, Marla spent over fifteen years as a business coach. She comes to the EIWL with experience in marketing and networking. She is a wife, a mom, and a grandma. She loves books, movies, and anything chocolate! Her dream is to someday spend the winter months writing books while sitting on a warm beach.
Tiffany Zweifel is a journalist who loves fiction with a healthy plot, a dash of suspense, a pinch of romance, and a sweet twist. On her journey to writing novels, she used her degree in journalism from Brigham Young University to pen thousands of newspaper articles. Her journalism career spans three states, four decades, and five newspapers. Her first two novels, “Answered Prayers” and “Precious Cargo” were traditionally published. She then self-published “Crash Course for College,” a nonfiction work to help recent high school graduates make a smooth transition into college life. Her newest self-published novel is “Junction". Besides writing, Tiffany enjoys tennis, golf, kayaking, yoga, biking, water aerobics, watching football, and spending time with friends and family.

Joey Giebel- Treasurer


Joseph was raised on a small farm outside of Idaho Falls were he developed a love for not only animals, but also for poetry. He has been writing poems since he was 14 years old and has published some of his work with our former EIWL President, Amy McClellan. Poetry provides him a way to express his love for nature, history, and his family. He is currently pursuing degrees in both Biology and Microbiology at ISU.
